Relentless Living

Immitis Viventium- Relentless Living.

Adamant. Bound. Determined. Fierce. Rigorous. Stop at Nothing. Single Minded. Uncompromising. Undeviating. Unflinching. Unstoppable.

This is how I want to live life.

This year I turned 30. 30 years goes fast....really fast. Lately I've been thinking more about what I really want to accomplish in life. This is no mid-life crisis type of deal, it's just that I understand the saying that "if you aim for nothing you'll hit it every time."

I want my life to hit something. I want to wake up every morning with purpose and determination.

Hebrews 12:1 says, "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us."

This race / life that God has given me is something that I want to be "on purpose" about and fulfill it by relentless living. I don't want to coast through life. People say that "life happens." Well I want to "happen" to life by the grace of God and by His power working through me. I want to be more than a conqueror (Rom. 8:37).

So there you have it. That's what this blog is going to be all about- Immitis Viventium- Relentless Living!

Tim and I have had fun using the word relentless as many times as possible on normal everyday topics. ie. Laundry is relentless.
